SIMPSON, NC -- Bill Lyerly is a favorite in North Carolina. His 40 years of playing around the Tarheel State has endeared his blues/rock/country style to many, especially in the east.
He now lives in Spain but returns to the the state each winter to play a few gigs, reunite with family, and visit friends around some personal favorite spots.
I caught his birthday gig at Hobo’s Tavern this year.
